BLOG

First of all I just want to say that while the companies who pay us to write posts for them usually explain pretty well what are their expectations like minimum number of words, required links, images or other media, but sometimes you just read the requirements over and over and it might not seem clear, for example, what kind and how many links they require.
In such a case my recommendation is to check how other bloggers wrote a post like that. But how can you find bloggers who wrote exactly the same sponsored posts as you are supposed to write? Usually it is quite simple. Actually there are a few ways to do it:

Use Google to write the name of the opportunity you wish to take and add “blog”. This should show up the blogs which had posts about the topic.
Use Blog Catalog http://www.blogcatalog.com/post-tag/ to search for posts tagged as the name of the opportunity you wish to take. Often this will lead you to blogs who took the same opportunity you want to write about.

Get Paid to Blog - How to Write Sponsored Posts #1

With more and more people participating in writing sponsored posts, I feel that it might be a good idea to share my knowledge how to do it in a proper way. This way you can avoid making mistakes which will help you get your posts approved and your blog will look more professional. I have a few points I would like to make and I decided to split them into a few posts. This time I would like to discuss the sponsored post requirements. There might be a few requirements you will have to fulfill, but what is important is to read the requirements carefully. Does your post contain the minimum amount of words? Does your post include all of the required links, images or embedded video clips? This is what many people do not pay attention to and later they complain they did not get paid. To check the number of words you have written, it is a good idea to write a post in Microsoft Word as under “Tools” you might be able to find the “Word Count” option. Before submitting your post you can check if all links are working by clicking on them yourself. To see if images or videos are properly working you might want to see how your post looks like not only on Internet Explorer, but also on Firefox, since it is also a popular browser
